Infrastructure
The province of Almeria has a good range of infrastructures in the administration, health, transport and energy sectors. On a public level, the different town halls and specially the Almeria provincial administration are making an effort in the entire province to have the best conditions to offer quality services to individuals and companies. There are four public hospitals and various private clinics as well as a wide range of welfare services spread across the Almeria province. The telecommunications infrastructures are at the cutting edge, since on this matter, Almeria has very advanced technologies.

The province of Almeria has a significant offer for accommodation either to rent or to purchase. The stock of dwellings is varied and at this moment in time the housing market offers very competitive prices.

The population of the province of Almeria is 704.219 inhabitants of which 359,547 are male and 344.672 female. The main population centres are in Almería, El Ejido, Roquetas de Mar, Níjar, Adra and Vicar. It is significant that the percentage of foreign population has reached 21.9%. In Almeria coexist people from more than one hundred nationalities. That alone shows the rich cultural diversity of the province. The foreign population is fully integrated and also the Spanish population has become used to live with people from other nationalities.
