SPECIALIZED TOURISM

Almeria has a lot of potential to offer, due to the excellent climate conditions, the level of infrastructures, the quality of its services and the natural environment. With an average temperature of 19º and a Mediterranean tropical climate, warm and dry, Almeria is one the Spanish cities with more hours of sun. The rainfall is very scarce and Cabo de Gata is the place where it less rains in the whole of Spain. The province has an extensive range of hotel infrastructures as well as the presence of the biggest Spanish hotel chains. Also, the gastronomy offered is of great quality using local ingredients both from the sea and the fields.
The diversity of the tourist activities is difficult to find in other places, since in a small area there is a wide range of different environments: mountains, desert and sea. It is worth mentioning the natural environment that Almeria has, since it is home to a number of well known protected areas.
